Pharmacist SupportBenzydamine Spray (generic Difflam) is a dual-action treatment that acts as a local anaesthetic to numb pain and an anti-inflammatory to reduce swelling. It is ideal for treating painful conditions of the mouth and throat such as sore throats, mouth ulcers, and post-dental surgery pain.
Directions:
- Spray directly onto the affected area
- Use every 1.5 to 3 hours as needed
- Avoid contact with eyes
Active Ingredient: Benzydamine Hydrochloride 0.15% w/v.
Other Ingredients: Ethanol, glycerol, saccharin sodium, methyl parahydroxybenzoate, propyl parahydroxybenzoate, mouthwash flavour, polysorbate 20, purified water.
Adults: 4 to 8 sprays every 1.5 to 3 hours. Children 6-12 years: 4 sprays every 1.5 to 3 hours. Spray directly onto the sore area of the mouth or throat.
